Daniel and I made a quick trip to Tuscaloosa today to see Mother/Grandmom. Although the visit was brief, it was good to spend time with her. We shared some take-out from Applebee's, had a few laughs, replaced batteries in the smoke alarms, caught up on "the latest" and then headed back north. Even though she wasn't feeling "up to par" I think that she enjoyed the day. Here is a picture of her flowers and candy from Jim and Trisha.
Daniel sat on her walker to be next to her for a picture, but apparently Mother had other ideas.
Tried to get a good picture of Mother and me, but you'll have to settle for this one instead.
Despite her pain and discomfort, Mother always has time to have a good time. Check out the bow from the box of candy!
So, there you have it. Another extra special Mother's Day Event! And, let me add a BIG thank you to my sweet hubby for two new pairs of shoes for my Mother's Day!
